Wallpapering in Darlaston

Walls, ceilings and full-room repaints in the colours you want — crisp lines, even coats, dust sheets down, and not a drop out of place.

Whether it’s one tired room off the High Street or a whole house up toward Moxley Woods, a fresh interior repaint is the quickest way to make a Darlaston home feel new again. We fill and prep the walls properly, cut in clean by hand, roll even coats that don’t patch, and tidy up every single day — so you’re left with a flawless finish, not a house full of dust and tape.

What's involved

Interior painting in Darlaston, done properly

Proper prep first

Cracks and holes filled, old flaky paint sorted, surfaces sanded smooth — the boring bit that makes the finish look right.

Clean cutting-in

Sharp lines by hand where wall meets ceiling, skirting and frames — no wavy edges, no bleed onto the woodwork.

Even, solid colour

The right number of coats so the colour is solid and even, with no patchy roller marks or thin spots.

Dust sheets & daily tidy

Furniture covered or moved, floors sheeted, and everything tidied at the end of every day.

Good to know

Interior painting — your questions

Do I need lining paper?

On the older Darlaston plaster, usually yes. It costs a little more and it is the difference between paper that lies flat and paper that shows every hollow in the wall behind it.

Can you strip the old paper first?

Yes, and we price it in. Stripping is unpredictable — sometimes it comes off in sheets, sometimes it fights — so we quote it as part of the job rather than as an extra later.

How long does a feature wall take?

Usually half a day once the wall is prepared. If it needs stripping and lining first, allow a day and a half in total.
